You’ll learn how this new setup works in Fusion using the same example from my original Insights – but this time with the Surface Tracker node directly in the Fusion comp. The Resolve 18.1 update makes this Fusion workflow much simpler to execute At that time, in Resolve 18 Public Beta, it was the only way to make this happen. In the original Insight, I showed a (necessarily) convoluted method of using the Surface Tracker on the Color page to feed into the Fusion page. This vastly speeds up the beauty retouching workflow I covered in my first two Insights for Mixing Light. With the Resolve 18.1 update, the Resolve FX Surface Tracker plugin is available on the Fusion page.
